I hope all is well with you and the staff at ICRM. I never took the time after the fact to thank all of you for the wonderful experience we had just under two years ago going through the invitro process and all the emotions involved. It was absolutely flawless. I know you receive plenty of letters from parents after the fact, but we were blessed last Valentine's Day with a sweet little girl we named Paloma "Polly". Since our time we have had conversations with many other couples, and before they even finish telling us their concerns and issues, we say "you have to go down to ICRM, don't hesitate, don't worry, just go." Thank you all for your knowledge, professionalism, love, and concern. With that said, during the process I told myself, and my wife, 'I don't think I will ever do this again.' Well, that has changed, and with nine on ice, we are just wondering what the typical course of action is from here. Also, what are typical costs and procedures. Dear Dr. Slater and staff,
We want to thank you for helping us become pregnant with a beautiful baby girl. Regan was born on March 18th. We can not fully explain how grateful we are to all of you. Many doctors' offices treat people as a number and a nuisance, especially when it comes to infertility. However, this was far from the experience we had with your office. Every single person made us not only feel welcome, but supported in our journey to have a baby. We felt as though everyone was a part of our lifes during that time and pulling for us instead of just treating us like just another customer.
The front office staff was excellent in setting the direction of the office as soon as we walked in the door. Janna and Natalie were fantastic at answering our many questions at all times of the day. Since IVF is such a technical procedure, sometimes the pre and post treatments can be overwhelming for both husband and wife. Janna and Natalie helped us with everything we needed and never teated us like we were an inconvenience to them. The nursing staff was great and explained every detail of every ultrasound. Bret, we should have thanked you more. Obviously without your skills, none of this would have been possible. On the day when were passing out chocolate truffles, you should have received your own box. We owe you one! Genie is possibly the biggest asset to any office west of the Mississippi. You haggled with the insurance company on our behalf and wouldn't let them lowball us. Like we said earlier, if there were more people like you in the world, there would be no nee for insurance companies. In short, all of you treated us like we were a priority.
Our deepest thanks go to you Dr. Slater for your confidence and knowledge of your craft and your desire to be different and better than the average infertility doctor. You are truly a specialist. Not only do you know what you are doing with the medicine you practice, but you understand how to run an effective business, which shows as you have surrounded yourself with top notch people.
Lastly, we want to let you in on a little secret. Sometimes life gets very hard, and often times people don't like their jobs for a variety of reasons. When your job seems difficult because the billing isn't correct, or the instruments aren't working properly, or patients aren't following directions, just remember this secret. The secret is that you are doing God's work. We don't say this lightly, but but we can't think of a more appropriate circumstance to say it is than this. Each of you plays a crucial part in helping children come to earth and build families. We don't know too many professions with such rewards. So on the days when the last thing you want to do is go to work, hold your head high and remember what work it is you are doing.
